The Eleventh Day of Christmas: Away in a basement (part four)

This is the fourth (and final) installment of holiday fictions from New Times‘ 2012 Holiday Guide. Which brings us Ryan Miller‘s “Flotsam,” illustrated by Irene Flores. And Ana Korgan’s “Why we eat turkey and ham for the holidays,” illustrated by Jay Alba. With podcasts of both stories as well. And it’s worth noting that Ryan was one of only two writers who really seemed to enjoy performing his work, so you might want to give that a listen.
